What does the Wilson 5 Foundation do?
Our vision is to create forever parks, support public art, and encourage movement.
What types of projects does the Wilson 5 Foundation support?
Presently, we only fund land conservancy, park creation and sharing public art in British Columbia.
Do you give grants to businesses or individuals?
No. The Wilson 5 Foundation is a registered charity and it can only donate funds to qualified donees under the Income Tax Act. It cannot donate funds to for-profit organizations, businesses or individuals.
Why does the Wilson 5 Foundation focus on the land conservation?
While visiting the beautiful vast parks of BC, Chip thought it was brilliant that the province had been able to preserve them.
Now that the family has the ability, we want to be able to continue land preservation for future generations.
